Dog Pointers

Muscles Exercised
- Rhomboids
- Trapezius
- Multifidii & Rotatores (small muscles that stabilize the spine)
- Erector spinae (back muscles)
- Rotator cuff muscles
- Gluteus maximus, minimus and medius
Start Position
- Starting on your hands and knees.
- Hips directly over the knees.
- Wrists directly over shoulders.
- Back should be naturally straight.
- Head looking down towards the ground and should be in line with the rest of the spine.
Finish position
- Raise one arm up so that it is in-line with the spine
- Raise the opposite leg up so that it is in-line with the spine
- The hips and shoulders should remain parallel to the ground
